After Disastrious Football Commentaries by Female Journalists, TV Set Viewers Send Motion to CRTV GM

MOTION OF SUPPORT AND THE PEOPLE’S CALL FROM VIEWERS OF CRTV TO THE GENERAL MANAGER ,MR CHARLES NDONGO ON THE OCCASION OF THE 57TH EDITION OF THE CAMEROON FOOTBALL CUP FINAL, YAOUNDE; 30 October 2016.

Dear Mr General Manager
a) Mindful of your recent brilliant appointment as the General Manager of CRTV by the Head of State after more than 40 years of service as a Journalist
b) Considering your resolve to leave CRTV better than you met it ,as exemplified in your timely appointment of new officials,
c) Elated by your recent visit to China during which you proudly announced to your viewers that CRTV has procured two new OB Vans and other state –of -the -art equipment
d) Conscious of the mouth –watering budget that you manage at CRTV, and the hundreds of refined and performing journalists that you have at your disposal
e) Aware of your determination to ensure that CRTV gives the upcoming 2016 Female AFCON the best media coverage
Do Resolve as Follows:
1) Appreciate the fact that you deployed a panoply of journalists to cover the Cameroon Cup Football Finals at the Yaounde Omnisport Stadium
2) Note with reservation that the French Reporters were far more familiar with football commentary than their English counterparts.
3) Draw your attention (with regret) to the fact that the kind of football commentaries your journalists, especially those of the English Language expression served Cameroonians are at variance with your 40 years plus experience as a Journalist and General Manager
4) Remind you that any such public showing during the upcoming Female AFCON would cause your esteemed corporation and person , as well as our International visitors very big embarrassment
5) Plead with you to reconsider, as a matter of urgency ,the kind of Reporters you send out to run football commentaries especially during the upcoming AFCON.
DONE INFRONT OF ALL THE TV SETS OF CRTV VIEWERS this Sunday 30TH October 2016.
